{"id":449,"date":"2025-06-04T19:52:04","date_gmt":"2025-06-04T19:52:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/laruidosaoficina.com\/?p=449"},"modified":"2025-11-28T17:23:27","modified_gmt":"2025-11-28T17:23:27","slug":"mediar-las-distancias-archivos-y-afectos-inestimable-azar","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/laruidosaoficina.com\/en\/mediar-las-distancias-archivos-y-afectos-inestimable-azar\/","title":{"rendered":"Mediating Distances: Archives and Affects | Invaluable Chance"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"translation-block\">A mediation-creation project was developed for the Pedagogical Program of the <a href=\"https:\/\/14edicion.bienalfemsa.com\/es\/xiv-inestimable-azar\/programa-pedagogico\/arte-mediacion-y-giros-pedagogicos\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">XIV FEMSA Biennial<\/a>, titled Inestimable Azar [Invaluable Chance]. Initially, we were invited to participate in person; however, due to the COVID-19 health crisis, we restructured our proposal and adapted it to a virtual format.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\">In this new context, we decided to create a mediated correspondence process that fostered dialogue between two projects: the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/aberrante.mx\/?hl=es\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Aberrante Collective<\/a>, formed by Marco L\u00f3pez and Jos\u00e9 Luis Arroyo, and the <a href=\"https:\/\/issuu.com\/luquiva\/docs\/museo_de_pobre\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Museo del Pobre y Trabajador<\/a> (Museum of the Poor and Worker), established by Luis Fernando Quir\u00f3s and Rolando Castell\u00f3n. While both projects consist of curators, artists, and independent cultural managers, the Aberrante Collective is led by young practitioners based in Mexico, whereas the Museum includes senior professionals residing in Costa Rica.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">The objective was to generate an intergenerational exchange through correspondences based on prompts and exercises we proposed.
