The mediation team at the Extension Center (CENTEX) of the Ministry of Cultures, Arts, and Heritage of Chile invited us to participate in their Border Action 2022 program. This program was developed in a podcast format and is titled Listening to Artistic Mediation.
The four podcast episodes were created by various mediation projects, including the Public Programs Area of the Museo de la Solidaridad Salvador Allende (Chile), the Mediation Area of the Museo de Antioquía (Colombia), the Colectiva Error Pedagogía (Peru), and LaRuidosaOficina.
In our episode, We All Need a Cave, we reflected on themes of affection, community-based social life, and care work. We explored the urgent need to consider and take action on care and self-care in artistic, cultural, and collective endeavors.
